LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM  — International automotive technology collective Marque Group has appointed respected auto executive Allan Rushforth to lead the strategic direction of its UK- and European-based businesses.

A recognised global industry leader with over 35 years of experience in automotive, Rushforth has worked at manufacturer level in positions including Vice President of Nissan Global Sales and Performance, and Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor Europe. His expertise also extends through the automotive retail sector, including Managing Director of UK motor retail group Lookers PLC.

Recognising the competitive landscape across the industry, Rushforth’s appointment will accelerate Marque Group’s unique blend of data-driven value services and high-quality operational execution, boosting its clients’ customer retention and revenue growth.

As Managing Director – Europe, Rushforth is tasked with leading-out Marque Group’s family of companies as it expands its strategic footprint and influence across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Specifically, Marque Group is positioned to capitalise on its existing European presence from its office in Cologne, Germany by aggregating its experience of UK automotive retail and global OEM relationships to grow the businesses.

Marque Group CEO, Gary Martin, is thrilled to have Mr Rushforth lead and direct its UK and European teams as part of the broader international organisation.

Aura is an international customer experience agency specialising in actionable research and insights for its OEM clients and has an additional European base in Germany. Marque Group’s other entities include B2B loyalty solutions provider Smart Loyalty and lead management platform AutoPlay, both based across Australia and New Zealand.

Aggregating services across the Marque brands to provide clients with a modular suite of business tools will be a key component of the organisation’s future growth.
